Pandas Stock the Food Pantry
Our Pandas did a FANTASTIC job donating food and supplies to the Easton Food Pantry. We worked together as a building on Monday to fill Mr. Jake's truck with our donations! Way to go boys and girls!

Firefighter Phil Visits Parkview
Thanks to funding from the Easton Fire Department, the Firefighter Phil program visited Parkview this week. Students learned about smoke detectors, flammable hazards found in the home, as well as the importance of creating a home escape plan and having a family meeting place. They especially loved the magic tricks and jokes from Lucky the Duck! A thanks to Lieutenant Carroll for coming to help too!

Community Meeting!
Our November Community Meeting took place today. We reviewed this month's trait of RESPONSIBILITY and discussed December's trait of GENEROSITY. Our Kindergarten classes all presented to their classmates. We heard a variety of songs, poems, and even learned about some of our most important body parts. We handed out the Box Top Trophy to Mrs. Resca's class who brought in 360 box tops this month! Our cumulative total for the building in 5,289! Keep those box tops coming! Lastly we awarded our Proud Panda Awards to the students that exemplified RESPONSIBILITY this month! Nice job everyone!

PAWS-itive Referrals
So many students received paws-itive referrals this week! Being good role models, excellent friends, and hard working students were just some of the reason these students were recognized!

Science Center Fun!
Mrs. Reese's students spent the morning investigating several different science centers. Do you know where sand comes from? What will happen to a candy cane in different liquids? What kind of ramp allows a ball to travel faster? Our Pandas know the answers to ALL these questions!

Book Fair Week Begins
Our students will be visiting the Enchanted Forest this week as the Scholastic Book Fair visits Parkview. Don't forget to visit the Fair on Wednesday night for a Pajama Story Time with Mr. C. Stories will start at 6:30!
