Dot Day - We Made Our Mark!
International Dot Day is inspired by Peter Reynolds's book, The Dot, and takes place every September 15th-ish. Our students celebrated this week by reading the story and creating their own wonderful works of art!

Our PAWS-itive Referrals Continue to Grow!
Our Pandas continue to show how awesome they are. From helping one another to helping their teachers, students have been showing what it means to be a PANDA!
Talk Like a Pirate Day!
September 19 is Talk Like a Pirate Day and we had a blast celebrating! Our morning announcements were pirate themed and students completed pirate activities all day. There were pirate songs, pirate math, pirate stories, pirate crafts, and pirate treasure hunts! What a GREAT day!
3, 2, 1........Blast Off!
Mrs. Capobianco's students studied space this week! At the end of the week they wrote about whether or not they would like to attend space camp. They also decorated and launched their own rockets!

This week I visited Mrs. Dever-David's class and Mrs. Capobianco's class as they gathered together to read to each other. What a great group of buddies!

We are in the midst of a building project with MSBA. We are looking to build a combined PreK-2 school on the Parkview site. We have some very important votes coming up and hope to see you there.
