Welcome Back Parkview!

We had a GREAT couple of days this week! Cohort B students did a great job with in-person learning while Cohort A students knocked remote learning out of the park! We all know this year will be full of challenges, but if what I saw this week is any indication of what Pandas can do, WE GOT THIS!

Parkview Panda Expected Behaviors

Please be sure to review these expectations with your child frequently. As part of our Morning Meetings, we will go over them daily here at school.

Kindergarten and Preschool Open Houses

We welcomed our youngest Pandas this week to meet their teachers and see their classrooms. We can't wait to have them fill the building this coming week!

Masked Selfie Surprises!

All of our students did a great job wearing their masks this week. Many classes watched a directed drawing lesson and created AMAZING self portraits of themselves in their masks with a hidden surprise when the paper was unfolded! Their works of art came out great!

First Grade Fun!

Our first graders ROCKED their first two days! Keep up the great work everyone!

We LOVE Being Outside!

We are so fortunate to have so much green space around Parkview! Teachers and students spent their mask breaks, snack times, and lunch times outside as much as possible this week! We will continue to go outside as long as we can. Please be sure to dress for the weather!

Phys. Ed. Phrenzy!

It looks a little different, but Pandas are loving their P.E. time with Mr. White! Exercising and stretching while ten feet apart on our blacktop area!

Super Second Graders!

Our second grade students had a great week! Can't wait to see what they'll do next week!

Drop Off Reminders

Please remember that we are trying to minimize the number of people on school grounds. If walking or riding a bike, all parents must stop at the Hug Stations to say goodbye to their child and send them the remainder of the way to class. Also, please do not park in the front circle. This is a LIVE drop off. Students will exit and cars will continue on through the loop.

Google Meet Expectations

Please review these Google Meet expectations and etiquette with your child. Following these guidelines will help make remote learning time successful for all!

We Are PANDA STRONG!

I loved these door decorations reminding us that despite what 2020 throws at us, we WILL be PANDA STRONG!

PTA News!

We couldn't do ANYTHING without the support of our PTA! All students will be receiving an At Home Learning Kit thanks to the PTA. We are also looking for creative ways to keep students and families engaged this year! Please join us for our first PTA meeting of the year on September 30 at 6:30. The meeting will be virtual and a Google Meet link will be sent in next week's update.
