January 4, 2019

We had so much fun in the weeks leading up to winter vacation! Lots of holiday activities took place around our building. I hope you enjoyed a wonderful and restful break with family and friends! I am looking forward to a successful 2019 with our Pandas!

Gingerbread Galore
Many students across the building completed many activities having to do with gingerbread! From reading stories, to writing their own versions, the gingerbread man was hard to catch at Parkview! To top it all off we created a wide variety of gingerbread houses!

All Aboard!
The students in Mrs. Eaton's class studied the Chris Van Allsburg classic, The Polar Express. As a fun culmination the class gathered in their pajamas to enjoy the film adaptation of the book.

A Journey of Kindness with NED!
We took a trip to Kenya with our friends Kozmo and Ned! We learned all about kindness and helped to bring clean water to a village in Kenya! Our staff and students learned many valuable lessons and had lots of fun while doing it!

Community Meeting
We gathered before vacation for our final Community Meeting of 2018. We discussed how we demonstrated December's trait of GENEROSITY and different ways that we can show our trait for January when we return in 2019: INCLUSIVITY! We also gave out our Box Top trophy to Mrs. Feeney's class. Lastly, we handed out this month's Proud Panda awards.
