GO PATRIOTS!
We supported the home team this week with a spirit day! We had many Pandas sporting their Pats gear!

Duck, Duck......GOOSE!
I joined in the fun and played duck, duck, goose with Miss Erica's class this week! Boy, do we have some speedy preschoolers!

Wiese's Wonderful Workstation Math Games!
Ms. Wiese's students honed their math skills this week by playing a variety of different math games.

Dictation Drawings!
Mrs. Feeney's class worked on illustrating one of their weekly dictation sentences. There were several fantastic drawings of, "The pretty little girl was baking a cake!"

Thank A Custodian!
We recognized our two outstanding custodians this week when we celebrated Custodian Appreciation Day! Big thanks go out to Mr. Jake and Mr. Steve for their hard work and dedication in making our building sparkle and shine every day!

Outdoor Fall Fun!
Miss Lindsay's class went outside for a fall classic.....playing in the leaves! They raked the fallen foliage into a pile, jumped in, and threw them in the air! Everyone had a blast!

World Smile Day!
We were all SMILES on Friday as we celebrated World Smile Day! We met to discuss the theme of the day: Do an act of kindness, make a person smile! We read a story about kindness and good deeds. We also sang The Smiley Face song all together (first graders even sang it on the bus ride home from their field trip)! We also talked about our ongoing service projects for the month: collecting used eyeglasses for the OA Leo Club and new socks for the homeless as part of SOCKtober. Miss Linda even served smiley fries for lunch! A shout out to Halvorsen Orthodontics for once again generously sponsoring our smiley face tee shirts!

Positive Referrals!
Another group of Pandas were recognized this week for their good deeds, leadership, and role model behavior! Way to go boys and girls!

Apple Picking (Finally)!
Mother Nature finally cooperated this week and our first graders were able to go on their field trip to Jaswell Farm. Students had a great day and came back with plenty of delicious apples!

Fall Artwork!
There are several displays around the building depicting all things fall: sunflowers, apples, foliage, and bats!
