SNOW Play!
With this week's snow storm, students had a blast playing in the snow. Remember that when there is snow on the ground Pandas will need boots, snow pants, a hat, gloves, and a jacket to play in the snow. I'm sure we have a LONG winter ahead of us!
Book Fair Success!
Thank you to everyone who purchased books at our Book Fair this week. We also had shared some great books at our Pajama Story Time! A huge thanks to Rachel Kelley and the PTA volunteers who helped to make this such a successful event.
Gingerbread Experiment
Mrs. Resca's and Mrs. Wright's classes have begun their gingerbread activities! Students listened to The Gingerbread Boy today and then conducted a science experiment. Students predicted what would happen when a gingerbread cookie was placed in water. Then they tested their predictions!
Holiday Shop!
The Holiday Shop is coming to Parkview! Students will be able to shop for holiday gifts from December 17-19 during school hours. Items range in price from $0.25 to $12.00. Students will be able to shop and wrap gifts for their family and friends during this event. Budget envelopes and more detailed information will be coming home this coming week. Click HERE if you'd like to volunteer at the shop. It may be helpful to NOT sign up when your child's class is attending, since they'll be buying gifts for YOU! They love to surprise you with their choices.
Box Top Update!
WE DID IT! We have reached our second school wide goal of 6,000 box tops! This has earned us a CRAZY HAIR DAY! We will have crazy hair day this week on Wednesday, December 11. Way to go and keep those box tops coming!
