Preschool Open House!
Our preschoolers and their families visited classrooms last week before officially starting the new year. Students enjoyed meeting teachers and friends while having fun exploring their new learning spaces!

The Gang's All Here!
All of our Pandas have arrived! We welcomed in our Kindergarteners (Class of 2032) as well as our Preschool friends this week! Despite the first day jitters, everyone had a great few days and has settled in nicely! Our community of learners is taking shape for what I'm sure will be an AMAZING year!

Readers Gonna Read!
I was able to catch Mrs. Capobianco's class doing some awesome reading this week! Students enjoyed some independent reading time as well as sharing a story from their reading book as a class.

Centers Have Begun!
Kindergarten Pandas have quickly adapted to new routines and were able to jump into centers by week's end. Patterns, letter identification, play-doh, and cutting practice were just a few of the great things our kindergarteners started this week.

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See!
Mrs. Hanegan's class read the Eric Carle classic and completed a coloring activity to go with it. As an added bonus, they put the book to music and sung about the many colored animals they encountered!

We Dig Poetry!
Ms. Hill's class has begun assembling their Poetry Binders! One of their first additions comes from Maurice Sendak's classic Chicken Soup with Rice. Students paired up to partner read this great poem!

Grade 1 Math Games
Mrs. Resca's class worked on their addition facts by rolling the dice and Reaching for the Stars!
